Police in Los Angeles entered a standoff with a man carrying a machete in a scene which seems to be taken from the "Scarface" movie.

According to TMZ, the suspect was wearing a Tony Montana getup and threatening people at an apartment complex with a machete.

Cops showed up at the Hollywood location at nearly 10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, after being alerted about a man acting suspiciously.

The real-life Montana also had a Scarface DVD on him, which he was, I guess, using to scare off police officers.

He also yelled profanities at the cops and started reciting quotes from the popular Al Pacino movie. It took six hours to have the suspect turn himself in, but he finally surrendered his weapon, which he threw in the pool.
