14 DAY TRIAL // Hackers part of the L0NHwave99 crew continue the campaign dubbed Operation Digital Tornado launched back in February as a form of protest against the US government. This episode, entitled “The Judgementday,” targets the sites of NASDAQ, the New York Stock Exchange (nyse.com), the Miami Stock Exchange (ms4x.com), BATS Exchange and CBOE.
According to the statement posted on Pastebin by the hackers, there also may be other related targets.
The operation is scheduled to start today at 14:00 Greenwich Time, right after New Yorkers drink their morning coffee.
“The US government has applied every suppressive effort along with using its News imperialism to survive the effects of this movement. But they must know that the 99% movement if possibly suppressible will never ever be annihilable,” the hackers wrote.
The site of NASDAQ has been targeted by numerous hacker organizations in the past few months, so hopefully they’ve implemented some enhanced protection mechanisms. Soon enough we’ll find out.
