Puns aside, Roccat claims to have created a certain headset that will best serve those customers that often end up spending a long time in front of their PC, one that is at once sturdy and lightweight.

When making a set of headphones, companies guide themselves according to various criteria, depending on how wide a consumer base they are aiming for.

Headsets, after all, come in many shapes and sizes and with various degrees of comfort, long-term use and sound quality, not to mention prices.

Among consumers, there are those that often spend a great deal of time at their computer and with their headset on, whether listening to music, enjoying games, perhaps even watching videos, making music/videos, etc.

It is those customers that Roccat targeted when it put together the Kulo, “designed to maintain a snug fit for the duration of your gaming session,” according to the company.

It utilizes a pair of 40mm built-in drivers with Mylar membranes and neodymium magnets, so as to deliver high-quality stereo sound.

Additionally, on-ear padding makes sure that noise is passively canceled, while the microphone is a foldable, bi-directional, noise-filtering one that has a frequency of 20 to 20,000 Hz.

Said microphone also has a maximum output of 80mW and an impedance of 50 Ohms, plus an automatic mute function.

What's more, to make the size of the headset adjustable, besides enhancing comfort, Roccat threw in a metal-reinforced, padded headband.

Other specifications include an in-line remote control, a 2.5 meter cable and a pair of 3.5mm jacks.

So far, only the stand-alone product has been released, its price being of 59.99 Euro, but April should bring about the release of another bundle, which will include an USB 7.1 sound card as well.

Those end-users interested in the Roccat Kulo need only drop by the product page, available on the peripheral manufacturer's official website.
