While Robert Pattison is trying his hardest to escape his image from the “Twilight” series, Kristen Stewart seems to be falling right into that type of role, as she's being rumored to star in the live-action adaptation of “The Beauty and the Beast.”

The twist in that tale is that this role will possibly reunite her with movie director Bill Condon, the man who directed her in the famous “Twilight” franchise and helped her achieve international fame alongside Robert Pattinson.

Last week, the announcement came that Disney recruited Condon to direct the “Beauty and the Beast” movie, and none of you are getting any bonus points for guessing who he'd like to see playing Belle in the movie. One hint: she once played a Bella.

A source has told Hollywoodlife that “The process and the script for the movie are still in the beginning stages but as it fleshes out, Bill Condon has definitely thought of Kristen Stewart as a possible Belle.”

And while all of this is going on, Robert Pattinson has been trying really hard to distance himself from all the reconciliation rumors. He's been keeping himself busy with acting and basically not feeding the rumor mill.

He actually went on the record admitting that he had no plans to rekindle his relationship with Kristen Stewart, despite reports that she did want him back after cheating on him with an older man. Wish as you might, these two are just not getting back together.

The only thing that could get in the way of Condon and Stewart's partnership is the fact that the movie project is still in its early phases, and it could be some time before it gets to the filming part of the process.

“By the time they make the film, it might be 2015 or 2016 and they think she’ll be busy and they might go after somebody younger,” claims an insider who think that Kristen is already too old. “Disney’s thoughts are, the big name for the film should be devoted to the Beast so Kristen has a 50/50 chance to be Belle.”

It's common knowledge that Kristen once cheated on Robert with a movie director, prompting rumors that she might be heading down the same path. It's pure speculation, but one can't help but wonder why Condon is sticking with Kristen for yet another movie, when she so clearly expressed her wish to stay away from being typecast into such productions.
