It's the outfit she wore to the “Panic Room” premiere when she was 11

They say that the things you do in life stick with you forever. And they're right! Case and point: actress Kristen Stewart is still regretting the choice she made when she showed up at the 2002 premiere of “Panic Room.”

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, the “Twilight” actress confessed she still dreads about the nerdy outfit she had on at the “Panic Room” premiere.

At the time, she was wearing an oversized black trench coat over what seemed to be a dark dress, though it's not sure since that damned trenchcoat covered up everything. The rest of her ensemble was made up of a pair of black blocky trainers and black tights.

“I think the pictures that they took at the premiere of Panic Room,” a cringing Stewart says. “It's like a popular image to show from when I was younger, you know, like ‘she was a kid!’ And I look at that and I'm like, ‘Oh . . . my . . . gosh.’”

“It shouldn't be embarrassing because I was so young," she adds to make her point. "But it doesn't even matter how young you are, you're just so, so embarrassed.” Stewart admits that she was just a goofy kid with no knowledge of fashion, which caused her to show up in said ensemble.

She's come a long way, though. These days, Kristen is quite the fashionista. Having taken a break from acting, she found a creative outlet in the fashion world.

She's just been named the new face of Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld who featured her on the new catalog, and she's also the face of Balenciaga's newest fragrance, Rosabotanica. A lot of fashion designers are considering her because of her features so her future in the fashion world seems to be a bright one.
