14 DAY TRIAL // “Clouds of Sils Maria” sees actress Kristen Stewart take on smaller roles than the ones she played in major Hollywood blockbusters like “Twilight” and “Snow White and the Huntsman,” but it's not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it gives her the opportunity to show off those acting skills she has talked about in the past.
In the movie, Kristen plays a young assistant for a middle-aged French actress (played by Juliette Binoche), who becomes the object of affection for her employer. The action is complicated by a young starlet (played by Chloe Grace Moretz) who steals her affection and creates a dangerous love triangle.
Kristen and Binoche's characters seek to escape the attention by making a getaway for the Swiss town of Sils Maria, where they try to work out their relationship. Fans of Kristen will be able to get a brief glimpse of the actress' derrière in a shot where Binoche's character can be seen pining over her young assistant as she sleeps.
The movie is set to premiere in Cannes today, May 23, and initial reviews have been positive towards the project. Apart from this project, Kristen Stewart has also made headlines in Cannes because of her speculated reconciliation with former boyfriend Robert Pattinson. So far, that hasn't happened to the best of our knowledge.
