14 DAY TRIAL // The media went literally wild when photos from the Marc Jacobs Runway Show came online because they showed the young Kendall Kardashian in a very revealing outfit that left nothing to the imagination and bared everything above the waist.
Some thought it was hot, other were offended by Kendall's seemingly shameless display, but the fact remains that because it's “haute couture,” it immediately becomes exempt from all trashy connotations. Just like a love scene in a good movie is “art,” so too this was regarded as an artistic statement.
The real knee slapper comes if we are to believe a report by Life & Style magazine that says it was really Kris Jenner's idea to have her daughter parade her body in revealing outfits, knowing full well that it would receive media exposure.
“She didn’t have to show her nipples on the runway, but Kris knew that would get the most attention,” said a “friend” to the family when talking about Kris pushing Kendall in the fashion world. “I’m sure Kris had a say in what she wore,” the source adds.
While it's true Kris is known for her complete control over all family matters, it's highly unlikely that she actually had a say in what Kendall wore on the night of the fashion show, simply because fashion designers are known to be fickle when it comes to their creations and their presentations.
With that in mind, Kris has also been known to choreograph the entire life of family members in order to achieve better publicity for the Kardashian clan. She herself has admitted in radio interviews that she keeps a tight check on all her family, having Google news alerts set up for all her children.
It's not hard then to believe that she would use her younger daughter to increase media attention on the Kardashians at a time when their reality show is dropping in ratings and losing millions of viewers with each episode, as it's being constantly blasted and exposed as a fake.
It's worth mentioning at this point that all the Kardashian sisters took to social media immediately after Kendall made her runway appearance to express their support and admiration for their sister, praising her talents and subsequently making sure that as many of their followers were aware of the event.
This too could be an indication that the Kardashians are working together as a team to promote their family name in the news and their struggle to remain relevant through any means possible.
