14 DAY TRIAL // The day you're going to hear Kris Jenner badmouth Kanye in public is right now very far in the future, but many thought they caught a glimpse of that future when the Kardashian matriarch posted some very unflattering messages about the most recent addition to her family – rapper Kanye West.
The woman who just days ago gushed about how much she loved Kanye took a very different approach yesterday on Instagram, proclaiming bluntly “I can't stand Kanye!”
Her first message read, “So this happened today. Shout out to all of my followers. I don't like Kanye West. I just pretend I do so my daughters can make a profit. I can't stand Kanye and I hate Karim (French Montana).”
It basically ripped into all the men her daughters had chosen as partners. Kanye married Kim Kardashian in Italy last month, while her daughter Khloe Kardashian is seeking consolation from her failed marriage to Lamar Odom in the arms of rapper French Montana.
And just to drive her point home, Kris added “Anywho the first to #IhateKanye will get a follow. Thanks dolls!(sic).” But many of her followers arched an eyebrow as this sudden change in stance towards the male love interests of her daughters looked highly suspicious.
The general consensus was that her account had been hacked, a theory also backed by the fact that the offending messages have since been deleted.
Just days ago, when Kanye celebrated his birthday, Kris gushed “Happy Birthday to my new son #KanyeWest!!!! Have an amazing day I love you.....thank you for being such an inspiration. #family #love.”
Kris and Kanye share an odd relationship. Though many suspect that the two fight over the control of Kim Kardashian, the most prominent member of the clan, it's so far only been left at rumors and gossip, and there's no way to prove that these two argue.
In front of the cameras, they seem lovey-dovey, and especially Kris is working hard to drive home the idea that she and Kanye are the best of friends and she welcomed him to the family with open arms.
Kim Kardashian, newly married to Kanye, also gushed about him on his birthday. She posted a photo with a cake that read Yeezus and captioned the photo with an even sweeter message, “Happy Birthday to my husband and best friend in the entire world! You have changed my life in more ways than you know! The way you look at life inspires me! I love you so much!!!”
