14 DAY TRIAL // So much for those rumors that Khloe Kardashian’s family is urging her to stop spending so much time with her new beau, rapper French Montana. The other day, Khloe’s mother and manager posted a photo that confirms that she actually approves of him and has nothing but the warmest feelings for him.
“I love you papi @frenchmontana #nobunight,” she writes on Instagram in the caption of the photo that shows them side by side for a “family” selfie. You can also see pic above, just click to enlarge.
Khloe has been seen out and about with French for a couple of months now and, despite countless reports that they’re an item (and supposedly so enamored that they’re already talking about moving in together), they are still to officially confirm it.
However, they have been seen holding hands and dancing passionately at exclusive parties, while Khloe was even photographed with a necklace that spelled his name – his real one, Karim Kharbouch, not his stage name.
Amidst all this talk about finding a new man, speculation on her relationship with estranged husband Lamar Odom has also picked up considerably. According to sources close to the NBA star, he’s having a very hard time coping with the fact that she’s already moved on from their failed marriage: Khloe filed for divorce in December and, by April, was already out in public with Montana.
He is no longer thinking they could still work out their differences and somehow get their relationship back on track, but, at the same time, he is hurt and upset that she seems to have bounced back after it so quickly. So he’s stalling the divorce so that she knows she’s still bound to him, at least legally, if not otherwise.
This is said to drive Khloe insane because, even if she has no plans to settle down again really soon, she would at least like to know she’d have this option if she wanted.
Khloe’s marriage to Lamar came under a lot of stress amid rumors of drug use and cheating on his part. Eventually, fed up of trying to get him to rehab, she gave him an ultimatum and he chose to move out their house.
Before Christmas, she filed for divorce, ending their 3-year marriage for good. For weeks after that, Lamar told the media that he was positive he could still get back with his wife. Clearly, that didn’t work out for him.
