14 DAY TRIAL // The Kardashian momager Kris Jenner is 58 years old but, with the time and money she invests in looking good, you would probably be excused if you mistook her for a woman 2 decades younger. Regardless of that, even some of her most loyal fans have come to believe she should start acting her age already and just stop trying to copy her daughters.
On the season premiere of the E!-produced reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris and daughter Kim came to blows as Kim accused her mother of trying to copy everything she does, down to posting bikini selfies on social media whenever she does it too.
Guess what happened the other day? Kim is now on her second honeymoon with rapper Kanye West, staying at an exclusive resort in Mexico and, just hours after she posted photos of herself looking stunning in a two-piece beige bathing suit, Kris did the same.
She posted a photo of herself working on her tan near the ocean, in a red two-piece, with the caption, “Bonjour!!! #blessed #grateful #thankyouGod photo cred @ohanafrey.” The photo is taken from above and from a distance, but you can still see enough of Kris’ body to admire the excellent shape she’s in, which was probably the whole purpose of the photo-op in the first place.
The timing of the photo in relation to Kim’s can’t be a coincidence, even her fans believe, so they’re urging her to stop trying to act like she’s one of her daughters and show some restraint in public for once.
Even Kim told her this much on the aforementioned KUWTK episode, telling the cameras after a particularly embarrassing scene with Kris in which she did a photoshoot with a wet shirt that left very little to the imagination that, “I think she is so funny and amazing. But my mom literally copies everything I do. I posted this swimsuit picture and then mom posted a swimsuit picture right afterwards. I mean, I get it, but come on.”
In response, Kris told her that, for her, “age is but a number” and, as long as she doesn’t hurt anyone with what she’s doing (which she’s not, if you don’t include the sensibilities of her fans), she plans to continue having “fun.”
“I want you to act more age appropriate,” Kim shot back. Clearly, her message has fallen on deaf ears.
Word online has it that Kris has been posting these revealing shots of herself because, deep down, she’s thinking / hoping she can land a Playboy spread in one of the upcoming issues, which is a lifelong dream of hers. Depending on who you believe, her daughters are either mortified by this or completely on board with it.
Our guess is that, should such a spread happen, all the Kardashian – Jenner girls would publicly support their mother, even if they’d lose fans over it. This is how they roll.
