14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian has decided to keep the wedding gifts she got when she married Kris Humphries, whom she divorced just 72 days later. Her soon to be ex Kris is fuming mad at her decision, claims a new report.
As we also informed you earlier today, after quite some time of consideration, the reality star has decided to keep the wedding gifts and to donate double their worth ($100,000 [€75,723]) to charity, to the Dream Foundation.
This way, she told her friends who attended the nuptials in a letter, everyone would be happy.
She didn't consider Kris Humphries, TMZ writes.
Sources close to the star tell the celebrity e-zine that he's very upset that Kim would decide to keep the gifts, especially since she knew from the start the marriage wouldn't last – because she aimed it to be a PR stunt from the get-go.
Fans of Kim's reality show must know that Kris is asking for an annulment of the marriage, citing fraud as the cause.
“Kris Humphries believes Kim Kardashian has NO RIGHT to keep the gifts from their doomed wedding, insisting every single item should be returned to the guests,” TMZ writes.
“Kris is adamant that gifts from a fraudulent wedding should be returned. We're told Kris gives Kim props for cutting a check for twice the value of the gifts and giving it to charity, but he feels Kim should have made the contribution IN ADDITION to returning the gifts,” the same media outlet reports.
“Kris has told friends he feels the guests were duped into spending their hard-earned cash on wedding gifts, claiming Kim never intended to give their marriage a real chance,” says the celebrity e-zine.
As noted above, the wedding gifts are believed to have cost somewhere in the region of $100,000 (€75,723). Kim wrote a check for double the amount to the Dream Foundation, which fulfills lifelong dreams to sufferers of terminal illnesses.
