Kris Humphries is so determined to prove that Kim Kardashian duped him into marrying her after she had planned everything for publicity that he’s even refusing to take her money in exchange for an amicable divorce, it has emerged.

The two were married in August last year and announced they would be getting a divorce 72 days later.

Since then, there has been a lot of speculation on how “real” the marriage was, since both Kim and Kris stood to profit a lot from it.

Recent reports claim that Kris wants the divorce trial televised because he has proof that Kim staged everything, including their romance and marriage, for the cameras, for a boost in ratings.

Radar Online notes that Kim even offered him money to agree to an amicable divorce and to drop his petition to have the marriage annulled on the basis of fraud.

He turned it down.

“Kris Humphries wants to make it abundantly clear to his soon-to-be ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, that he doesn't want any money from her, but wants the divorce granted on his terms, including admitting that the reality star married him under false pretenses,” Radar has learned.

“Even though the couple does have an iron clad prenup, Kim’s camp is open to some financial negotiation to end the marriage amicably, however Kris' lawyer has conveyed to Kim’s attorneys that he isn't seeking a cash settlement,” the e-zine adds.

A source confirms that the two parties have been talking non-stop trying to find a way to end the short-lived marriage officially, one that would suit both.

“There have been informal settlement talks going on between Kim and Kris' respective lawyers. Team Humphries has made it crystal clear though that Kris isn't seeking any money from Kim. Kris doesn't want one penny from her,” the insider stresses.

“His lawyers have said the only terms acceptable for a settlement would be if Kim agrees to Kris’ contention that the marriage was a fraud. There is a stand-off at this point because Kim will never agree to that, she says the marriage wasn't a fraud. It just didn't work out,” adds the spy.

However, what Radar isn’t saying is that, if the marriage is annulled on fraud, the prenup no longer holds any water.

This would also mean that Kris would no longer be gagged by one confidentiality clause in it, which would translate into very lucrative interviews and media deals on his relationship with the reality star.

In other words, he might not want her money, but he’s not exactly walking away from this empty-handed either.
