14 DAY TRIAL // The Kardashian empire might really be on the verge of collapse, as reports have been saying for months and as ratings for the latest KUWTK episode confirmed. Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner have announced their separation in a statement to E! News.
The two have been living separated for a while but, until just now, they refused to admit that it meant their marriage was over, saying only that it was a living arrangement they had come to consider ideal given their extremely busy schedules.
As it turns out, those rumors saying that their marriage was over were actually true.
“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” Kris and Bruce say in their joint statement.
“But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority,” they add.
Though the situation goes back many months, word has it that they are not even thinking of filing for divorce because – and you might have guessed that – they believe it would literally kill their family reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
So, TMZ reports, while it was Bruce who decided to move out because he could no longer stand living the “Hollywood life” Kris so desperately wanted, he’s still playing to her tune by not getting a divorce.
“Kris – in case you didn't know – is ambitious, some say to a fault. One family source put it this way: ‘She's on a freight train and Bruce finally wanted off’,” an insider says for the celebrity e-zine.
“We're told Kris wasn't the one who wanted Bruce to move out, because it wasn't good for the show or the Kardashian brand. It was Bruce who just got sick of it. It wasn't that he was bossed around or got into big fights with Kris – it's just that he wasn't happy around her,” adds the report.
Since it’s a fairly known fact that Kris has been feeding TMZ with various bits and pieces on her life and her family, it’s probably safe to assume that this is what happened before and after Bruce moved out.
It’s just as safe to assume that the “drama” will be documented on the reality show because, well, that’s just what the Kardashians do.
