Recently, the company announced the release of two new digiscoping adapters that allow you to use other Kowa products along with your DSLR or smartphone device.
The Kowa TSN-PA7 DSLR adapter comes as an alternative to the TSN-PZ attachment and allows you to turn your spotting scope into a powerful super telephoto zoom lens that could reach focal lengths of up to 2750mm when used along with Kowa's TSN-880 or TSN-770 Series.
"The previous D-SLR option for the TSN-880 and TSN-770 Series Scopes did not allow for digiscoping with an eyepiece," declared Miles Takahashi, Kowa Optimed sales manager, "the TSN-PA7 is a great option for our TSN-880 and TSN-770 scope users who are looking to fill that void."
The new TSN-PA7 works with the company's TE-10Z 20-60x Zoom and TE-11WZ 25-60x PROMINAR Wide Zoom eyepieces.
In addition to that, the firm also announced the TSN-GA4S phone adapter that allows you to connect your Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone to a Kowa scope or binocular.
"We want digiscoping to be easy and achievable for all of our customers," noted Randy Miller, Kowa Sales Manager. "We have long provided iPhone adapters to our customers, so it only made sense that we should do the same for Samsung Galaxy users as well."
The newly revealed TSN-GA4S adapter comes with 41mm and 55mm adapter rings, similar with the company's iPhone adapters, which are compatible with the TE-11WZ, TE-10Z and TE-17W eyepieces, BD42-XD, BD32, YF and SV Series binoculars.
Furthermore, the new adapter can be used with the entire Kowa lineup of spotting scopes and binoculars thanks to three additional adapter rings (43mm, 45mm and 50mm) that can be purchased separately.
