14 DAY TRIAL // After many years together and 2 adorable children, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are finally making plans to walk down the aisle. Unfortunately, says a new report, it’s all for the wrong reasons.
The two, who have long kept fans guessing about their intention of ever tying the knot, will be doing just that very soon and, of course, the entire thing will be documented on camera and aired on TV.
In other words, says InTouch Weekly, Kourtney will be making precisely the same mistake sister Kim made last year, when she married Kris Humphries for the ratings (which she denies), only to be divorced 72 days later.
Kourtney and Scott’s nuptials will be taking place much sooner than fans would expect: they will be engaged this December and married shortly afterwards. They’re probably neck-deep in preparations as we speak.
“Longtime couple Kourtney Kardashain and Scott Disick ‘are planning to get engaged when they tape the end of the season of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami in December,’ a friend of the family confirms in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now,” the publication writes in the online preview.
Scott is now shopping for an engagement ring, one with which he’ll propose in front of the cameras as well. The pressure to live up to Kim’s fairytale “romance,” which also played out on camera, must be huge.
“He was at Levinson Jewelers in Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 25. He was looking at really big, expensive diamond rings,” an insider says, adding that, indeed, Scott was accompanied by a camera crew.
“[Kourtney] and Scott have met with a wedding planner. And they’ve narrowed down the date — the wedding is scheduled to take place after Christmas but before Easter,” another inside source reveals for the same publication.
A third friend notes that getting married for ratings might be Kourtney’s biggest mistake yet, especially since she and Scott continue to have problems as a couple.
Friends believe this can only end in disaster.
“It’s definitely just for TV ratings. Kourtney is getting caught up in the show, and he, of course, just wants the payday. Sadly, she’s flirting with disaster — and everyone knows it,” says another source.
A rep for the couple has already denied the report above but, as fans must know, the same also happened when rumors of Kim’s wedding started to make the rounds.
