14 DAY TRIAL // A newcomer in memory modules manufacturing and design, Essencore strives to become a world leader in consumer-centric DIMMs. Its first step is to enter the European market under the brand name KLEVV.
Advertising itself as a High-Performance Gaming Memory Module, KLEVV hits the European markets with its four sub-brands of DIMM: Cras, Genuine, Urbane and Neo. Its top-tier DIMM, Cras, is the only DDR4 model of the four smaller brands that comes X99 chipset ready and offers 4GB or 8GB pieces and up to 32GB combined. Maximum voltage can reach 2400 11-13-13 @ 1.65V.
Founded in 2014 by CEO IU Kim, Essencore hopes that by managing a strong brand awareness and focusing on the key consumer markets of U.S., Europe and China, Essencore will quickly become a world leader in DIMM manufacturing.
IU Kim claims that "Of all regions, Europe is deemed to have the highest potential, with its huge population of tech enthusiasts. Starting in Germany, UK, and Poland in summer 2015, KLEVV products will soon be available in all corners of Europe."
An irony
According to Techpowerup, we can't help but feel a hint of inferiority complex here from IU Kim, "Despite the fact that more than half of the memory chips in the world are manufactured by Korean companies, there's been no Korean module maker that produces consumer-centric memory application products. By combining the technical know-how in memory, funding power of SK Group and family-like relation with SK Hynix, Essencore will no doubt become the world's leading consumer company in a very short period of time."
This growth process, however, will not be easy as DIMM giants already battle for supremacy on future Z170 chipsets while Corsair, Kingston and G.Skill already offer DDR4 aggregates that can go as high as 128GB!
However, KLEVV already has a solid reputation in Korea as it sponsors the SKT1 League of Legends Championship in spring 2015, a major E-sports event in South Korea.
