Kobo Inc. is reportedly getting ready for the launch of a new tablet PC running under Google’s Android operating system, and the device has already made an appearance online, on the GFXBench website.

The 10-inch tablet PC is listed there as capable of delivering a 2560 x 1600-pixel resolution, while packing a 1.8GHz quad-core NVIDIA processor inside (which could be a Tegra 3 chip, AndroidOS notes).

The new device is said to arrive on the market with Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, yet the rest of its hardware specifications remain a mystery for the time being.

The slate is also expected to feature Kobo’s own user interface when launched, while said to sport a rather affordable price tag, though specific info on the matter has yet to be provided.
