To those fans always telling her how lucky she was to lock lips with Brad Pitt in the 1994 blockbuster “Interview with the Vampire,” Kirsten Dunst has one thing to say: she was only 11 and the whole thing felt a bit gross.

In the film, whose trailer you’ll find above, the two play vampires who have in common more than their hatred for Lestat (Tom Cruise), whom they consider the father of all evil (pun intended, since Lestat is also Louis’ maker).

They’re also in love, which means that, at one point, Dunst’s character has to kiss Pitt’s.

“It was just a peck,” the actress says for Bullet magazine of what turned out to be her first real-life kiss.

“I remember Brad would watch lots of Real World episodes. He had this long hair. He was just a hippie-ish cool dude. Everyone at the time was like, ‘You're so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,’ but I thought it was disgusting. I didn't kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think. I was a late bloomer,” the actress adds.
