Kingston is one of the world’s largest memory companies and, being privately held, it is the world’s largest independent memory company with a market share of 46%. They are also the world’s largest USB flash drives provider, but AMD Fan day will be all about DRAM.

Kingston has just announced that the company will present alongside AMD, its new LoVo memory modules.

The new technology refers to low voltage DIMMs and we expect these to be rated at 1.35 volts.

Such memory modules will consume less power and will generate less heat than those  reducing the amount of heat generated inside the case and those improving overall system cooling.

The company will also be addressing to the environment conscious customers that want to reduce their carbon footprint.

AMD Fan Day will take place this Saturday, on October the 6th 2012.
