No doubt Kingston has already caused waves at Computex, with its demonstration of the supposedly fastest memory in existence, namely a 2GB dual-channel DDR3 memory kit clocked at 2,544MHz. This feat most likely made a lasting impression on the market already, but there seems to be no end to the hardware maker's thirst for more speed, and acclaim for that matter. In fact, besides the fastest dual-channel kit, the company has now also shown off what it claims to be the fastest Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) certified DDR3 triple-channel kit.

Bearing the KHX2333C9D3T1FK3/6GX part number, the team of three is part of the now infamous HyperX line. With a speed of 2,533MHz, the product was able to operate in timings of 9-11-9-27 on a system powered by the ASUS P6X58D Premium motherboard (an X58 platform) and the Intel Core i7-980X six-core enthusiast-grade central processor. Furthermore, during the entire testing process, the kit made do with a voltage of 1.65V.

"Our market-leading 2333MHz HyperX memory was created with the highest design-engineering principles and subjected to OEM-quality production and testing standards to gain Intel XMP certification," said Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager, Kingston. "Overclockers who want to max out memory performance in their Core i7 systems need to look no further than Kingston’s latest offerings."

Four tripe channel kits have been prepared, two of which have a capacity of 3GB and the other two 6GB. One 3GB and one 6GB kit (the 2333MHz one) are bundled with fans and cost $272 and $543, respectively. As for the fanless ones, they cost $252 (2333MHz 3GB) and $369 (2250MHz 6GB). The 6GB versions should cater to the needs of enthusiasts, gamers and benchmarkers, whereas the 3GB will leave their mark on the mainstream level. All are accompanied by a lifetime warranty and 24/7 technical support.
