Kingston Technology, one of the world's leading vendors of memory modules and other NAND Flash-based products, has just announced that it has started shipping HyperX 1600 triple-channel memory kits with new, high-profile T1 heatspreaders, specially designed to meet the requirements of gamers and overclocking enthusiasts. According to Kingston, the new 1600MHz memory modules are right on the sweet spot amongst gamers, which is why the use of the high-profile T1 heatspreaders comes as an ideal choice.

Kingston's latest HyperX 1600MHz 6GB triple-channel kits are designed to be used in some of the latest Core i7-based computer systems, providing users with support for high-end performance in the most performance-demanding applications. Featuring a clock speed of 1600MHz, these high-profile memory kits are to provide computer enthusiasts with high levels of performance, giving them an advantage with the help of the more efficient, high-profile T1 heatspreaders.

According to the memory vendor, the T1 heatspreaders have been designed from heavy-duty aluminum, featuring extended fins. This design feature enables Kingston's cooling solution to deliver an optimum cooling, even to the higher-performance memory modules. With the release of the new HyperX 1600MHz 6GB triple-channel kits for Core i7 systems, the company expands its T1 kits family, which also includes two triple-channel DDR3 kits and other two dual-channel DDR2.

The 1600MHz kit is already available for a manufacturer's suggested retail price of US$155, providing users of Core i7-enabled desktop PCs with a choice for a high-end memory solution. Additional HyperX memory products are available, with the company offering users a choice for single, dual and triple-channel kits. In addition, Kingston has enabled some of the features available for the company's desktop HyperX modules on the new HyperX SO-DIMMs modules, specifically designed for laptop users.
