14 DAY TRIAL // This is one of those rare occasions where we would want to be in the shoes of Kim Kardashian and her new husband Kanye West. Instead of being stuck in an office at work, the couple are enjoying their honeymoon in Ireland at the moment, and, from current reports, they're having a lot of fun.
The Daily Mail reveals that the newlyweds have been quite active in the past couple of days. They have found out from local sources that the celebrity couple have been spending a lot of time getting in the countryside in Ireland.
Yesterday, for example, they went bike riding and trekking with bicycles rented from the Ballyhoura Co. Limerick. And they went pretty early too, since reports have them in the bike company's office at eight o'clock in the morning.
They are reported to have rented bikes and asked for a tour at the Ballyhoura Failte, just before they decided to strike out on their own and go see the famous Blackrock Loop and the Ballyhoura Way.
After such a hearty workout, the couple were spotted enjoying a picnic at The Old Bakerhouse in Buff. The basket was said to have contained an assortment of tarts, sandwiches and other teats, all made locally, using produce from the region.
In their efforts to keep it authentic, the usually spoiled couple gave up on champagne and went for the local Ballyhoura apple juice as a drink. And speaking of drinks, after they completed their picnic, Kim and Kanye headed out to a local pub for the traditional pint of Guinness.
The two were so pleased with the drinks and the service, that the manager claims they left a hefty four-figure tip, although he hasn't disclosed the identity of the “two American VIPs.” But let's be honest, what American VIPs would leave a four-figure tip if not the famous rapper and his reality TV wife?
The Daily Mail speculates that next, Kim and Kanye will be heading out to the Kerry region in the southwestern part of Ireland, pointing out that the region holds some sentimental value for Kim, whose mother, Kris, also honeymooned in the Ring of Kerry, when she married athlete Bruce Jenner.
The couple famously got married over the weekend and were reported to be headed for Ireland for their honeymoon, just because they wanted to get less attention and have some time for themselves. After all, they boasted that they would be working on child number two during these five days of nuptial bliss.
