14 DAY TRIAL // Nothing comes before beauty for Kim Kardashian, not even personal comfort or even personal safety. The curvaceous reality TV maven hit the slopes with rapper husband Kanye West and a group of friends the other day, and Kim opted to keep her waist training corset on at all times.
She even hit the slopes with it on, voices online are saying, based on the photos she posted on social media. At this point, considering she never puts comfort before beauty, it wouldn’t be that surprising if she really did do that.

They’re not yet to their 1 year wedding anniversary, but there’s already a lot of speculation on an imminent divorce, for the simple reason that Kim and Kanye never spend more than a couple of days together every other week.
Call it the downside to being the most photographed woman in the world, half of the most mediated couple in showbiz: paparazzi photos available online make it very easy to determine Kim and Kanye’s respective locations every minute of the day. When these pics are not available, Kim is filling in the gaps herself, by posting details on social media.
Hence the conclusion that work is keeping her and Kanye mostly apart, with him being in Paris a lot and she mostly in LA or traveling around the country / world on promo work.
At least they went on a lovely and very romantic skiing break together, at Deer Valley in Park City, Utah, as Kim boasts online. They left daughter North at home, presumably with Kim’s mother Kris Jenner, but they didn’t go alone: the skiing trip was actually a birthday party for Alison Azoff, one of Kim’s oldest friends.
On Instagram, Kim posted selfies of her and Kanye, (or “my love,” as she calls him), but also with her pals, whose privacy she says she respects by not naming them. She’s ok with showing the photo with their faces, though.
A waist-trainer on the slope
However, it’s not the romantic break or Kim’s entourage that’s getting a lot of people talking online right now, as neither is Kim’s complaint that she didn’t want to wear a helmet and goggles, but was eventually talked into it by her friends, who clearly hold her safety as a priority.
As you can see in the Instagram shots below, Kim is wearing a puffy jacket cinched at the waist and black leggings, and there is a clear feel that her waistline is incredibly tiny – say, tinier than it would be if she were wearing a dress and Spanx, as she usually does on public outings.
Hence speculation that she must be wearing a waist training corset (or waist-trainer) underneath, which is basically a corset that’s worn for longer stretches and helps to reshape the waistline. This being a corset we’re talking about, it also makes regular stuff like breathing or physical activity more difficult, so if Kim really wore hers on the slope and went skiing with it, she really likes to make life harder for herself. That, and more dangerous too.
Kim has been boasting about her newfound love for the waist-trainer for months, in a bid to make her already hourglass figure even more so by making her waistline smaller.
