The entire world is holding its breath in anticipation of what seems to be the year's biggest social event, the wedding of Kim Kardashian to rapper Kanye West after a whirlwind engagement that was celebrated with a secret party on the AT & T Stadium.

Now, that we are days from the big event, details are still sketchy as the couple fights to throw the press off track by launching all these weird rumors. The only thing we can be sure of at this point is the fact that on Sunday, May 18, Kim and Kanye boarded their plane and headed to Paris, where they checked in at the Hotel Costers.

E! News reports that the couple were holding hands and acting very sweet when they arrived, getting in that lovely pre-wedding feel. Later, the couple was seen during an outing where Kim opted for a pair of skin-tight white top and an equally tight-fitting pair of jeans. Apart from showing off her generous curves, Kim also seemed keen to show that she had lost weight.

An eyewitness reports that the reality star ate salad and drank tea, all in a final effort to maintain her waistline. Meanwhile, Kanye gorged himself on Paillard de poulet bio dore minute curry and chutney, washing it all down with wine Saint Emilion Angelus.

At the moment, it's still a bloody mystery where the wedding is going to take place. After it was supposed to take place in Paris, this version being considered as final for months now, just last week, rumors indicated the couple was getting married in Florence, Italy.

Rumors about the size of the wedding also seem a bit out of proportion since now Kris Jenner and indeed Kim herself have said on more than one occasion that the wedding was going to be a small, intimate, family-affair, and not the blowout bash the tabloids advertised.

As far as wedding guests go, there is no confirmed person outside the close family members. Rumors indicate that the Jay Z – Beyonce power couple is going to be in attendance, as well as other notable members of the African-American community, such as Oprah and Serena Williams.

The leaked invitation to the wedding didn't specify any of this, hinting only that guests were to expect the unexpected and that they should be present in Paris on the big day and await further instructions. James Bond much? Yes, very! Too bad the invitation didn't self-destruct in five seconds though.
