14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Possible: Kimmunicator is a 3D platformer that runs from a fixed perspective, the only exception being made upon encountering a path choice. Gadgets and weapons that allow the entrance into secret areas can be purchased with the coins that are collected throughout the levels, but there is plenty of hand-to-hand combat as well. Kim has an arsenal of backflips, double jumps, roundhouse kicks and many more acrobatic moves to take down her foes.
Of course, there are a lot of minigames that make use of the DS specific arsenal of gimmicks, like getting past a special parachute level where you must blow into the microphone to make Kim float, as you navigate a narrow, hazardous corridor. Other gimmicks include the stylus, as you must trace an exact path on the screen in order to perform a successful hack.
All these things will help Kim recover her techno-geek friend, Wade, who has been abducted by Dr. Drakken and his sidekick, Shego. As you make your way to Drakken's secret lair, you'll encounter enemies including the likes of Frugal Lucre and the mad geneticist DNAmy, but many other dangers as well. The game was published by Buena Vista Games, Inc. and developed by Artificial Mind & Movement. It was released on November 9, 2005.
