14 DAY TRIAL // Now that Kim Kardashian has become Mrs. Kanye West, it's time to move past the news regarding the ceremony and focus on the actual marriage. For rapper Kanye, this may be the first time down the aisle, but, for Kim, getting married is starting to be a profession.
Kim had already been married two times before, once with music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 until 2004 (though Thomas filed for divorce in 2003), and the second time with NBA player Kris Humphries in 2010, which only lasted 72 days.
As you can see, Kim has some issues with being able to stick to a marriage, and, unfortunately for Kanye, the number of days she can last as a married woman seems to be decreasing at an alarming rate. So far, the countdown has begun and it's already at 4 days, the people of the world are already checking their watches.
But let's not be so cynical, let's give them the benefit of the doubt, especially since Kim and Kanye seem oddly perfect for one another. Both seem to be very much into their own person and establishing what can only be called a cult of themselves, both are very fond of money and all the luxuries that come with it, and both are hungry for fame.
And therein lies the problem. How long until their interests stop coinciding or even, God forbid, come in contrast with one another? Can you image the media circus that would follow then? Because both of them have the media platform upon which to roast the other: Kim has her reality show and her millions of fans on social media, while Kanye has his concerts and music where he can rant for hours on end.
At the moment, Kim and Kanye seem to be loved up, taking in as much of the publicity and media attention as possible, making it seem like they are bothered by it when in fact they thrive on it for their living.
Out of the two of them, it has to be said that Kanye is the one who seems to be more loving and attentive. He's constantly giving expensive gifts to Kim, showering her with attention, and, every once in a while, including her in his music and videos. You can see that, for Kanye, Kim is the epitome of what a woman should be in her life.
Kim, while more reserved, has also gushed about Kanye on numerous interviews, but still one can't shake off the feeling that she's only doing these things out of a need of reciprocation. Of course, we will never know what goes on in her heart and mind, but it wouldn't be too much to suppose that Kanye could be traded in for the next big thing as soon as he's outlasted his fame.
Some prestigious publications, like NY Post's Page Six, have already speculated on the length of the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West marriage, and the outcome has been a total time of just under a year, with some reservations of give or take one month.
We're going to go on the record and give it a bit more time than that, simply because we have faith in people and the best of their intentions, not to mention the fact that Kim and Kanye aren't going to be spending that much time together, since both will be busy with the separate projects.
There's also the issue of the children. Well, it's just one child at the moment, their daughter North, affectionately known as Nori, which the internet has baptized IgNori, because she seems to be ignored by both her parents, busy forging their careers and fortune.
But the couple have announced that they would be trying for another baby during their 5-day honeymoon in Ireland. In fact, if you think about it, they could be trying for a baby right now, as you're reading these very lines.
So, to sum up, Kim and Kanye are going to get a divorce, and it's our professional opinion that it's going to take at least two years for them to get to the point where they can't stand each other and they will be forced to throw in the towel.
At that point, the famous prenup contract is going to come back to haunt Kanye, because he allegedly promised Kim an additional million dollars for every years that they're married together. It's like a pension fund, only much bigger.
