14 DAY TRIAL // Sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian can now be seen on E!’s spinoff of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” called “Kourtney and Kim Take New York.” The two stars sat down with PopEater to speak of what fans can expect from the new show.
As we also reported on several previous occasions, the new show focuses on the launch of one of the Kardashians’ stores in NYC, but it also includes aspects of their personal life, like how they deal with media attention and what they do for fun.
Speaking with PopEater about that last part, Kourtney, who has a son Mason at home, says keeping up with Kim when she’s in full single girl mode can be quite tiring.
“Kourtney told me that when they (temporarily) moved to NYC to open up their new Dash boutique and tape their E! show, Kim was in ‘single girl mode’ and ‘ready to hit the town’ and party. But new mom Kourtney would ditch her sister as soon as Kim's friends would show up,” PopEater writes.
Of course, it’s not like Kim wouldn’t understand: not only does Kourtney have a baby at home, but she’s also always eager to spend more time with her boyfriend Scott Disick.
“I get it, she has a new baby and kinda wanted to chill out, so it was kind of selfish of me to try and pull her out every night,” Kim shares.
The same goes for younger sister Khloe, the two reality stars reveal, explaining why she wasn’t on this show: she wanted to be at home with her husband more, therefore could not be bothered to move to NYC, even if only for a short while.
“She didn’t want to come, actually. She wanted to be home with Lamar [Odom] and wasn’t interested in everything that it takes to open a store,” Kourtney explains for the same e-zine.
