14 DAY TRIAL // Ah, the eternal question for every couple getting married: what should the wedding kiss be like? Most people choose to keep it short, sweet and classy, a little longer then a peck and less passionate than a make-out session. But, if you're Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, of course you'll go all out and have a long kiss that will make everyone feel uncomfortable.
Andre Leon Talley, a contributor editor for Vogue Magazine, was one of the people invited at the wedding, and he has dished on the famous wedding kiss you've been hearing about. According to Us Weekly, Kim and Kanye made out for a long time in front of their guests.
All we got to see was the wedding photo, which broke records for most Instagram likes, but what we didn't get to see was that the photographer had plenty of time to shoot it and even take a couple more, while the new husband and bride locked lips.
Talley has answered the question “How was the first kiss as husband and wife?” with “It was extremely long.” While he doesn't say just how long it was in terms of minutes or seconds, the fact that he uses the word “extremely” and couples it with “long” gives you a hint that people in the audience actually had time to get bored during the kiss.
Talley has also mentioned that, in his opinion, a long kiss “is always a good sign,” hinting that the couple is very much in love. Oh, and he has also added that “there was probably tongue engagement.” That's keeping it classy.
Honestly, who doesn't want to see a 5-minute make-out session between the bride and groom where they try to lick the taste out of each other's mouths? But then again, Kim and Kanye were always the kind of couple that thought “more is better” and “go big or go home” ideologies applied perfectly to them.
Folks who followed the wedding news will remember other equally outlandish reports from the ceremony, like Kanye holding a long speech that bored the hell out of guests, ranting on for the better part of an hour, comparing him and his wife with warriors.
So, it's really not a surprise that they chose to embarrass guests by making them stare for 5 minutes while they kissed passionately and made sure everyone saw just how in love they were.
In ending, Talley has been asked to give a forecast for the length of the new relationship between Kim and Kanye. He has said, “I think this relationship has a lot of legs. I'm looking forward to the next baby, which will probably be called South or South West.”
