They might have spent in excess of $10 million (€7,3 million) on their Bel Air dream house, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not planning on ever living there as they've just made up their mind to sell the mansion.

Hollywoodlife reports that the celebrity couple is trying to get rid of the home, after investing serious money in renovating it for several months. They've been working on their own place for little over a year now, but it seems that all that money and effort is going down the drain as they never plan to move there in the end.

The home was a notorious money pit, primarily due to the fact that Kanye kept going back on the plans and redesigning things that were completed. A known perfectionist, Kanye was said to constantly decide to tear down things and build them up again in a different way, driving the contractors crazy in the process.

As you can image, all this back and forth ended up costing a lot of money, since Kim and Kanye enjoy living in luxury and nothing but the best will do for them. An insider reveals that Kim is fed up with all the decorating and improving, and she's ready to sell, “Kim’s over how long it’s taking” and she's “looking into other possibilities.”

It's been speculated that the couple is now on the market for a home closer to Kris Jenner's house in Calabasas, California. The couple has lived with the Kardashian clan while their home was undergoing work, but now it seems that they don't really want to move out in the end, or at least, not very far from the family.

At the beginning of the week, reports popped up in the press that Kim was house hunting in New York, which was pretty far from her normal stomping grounds. This led to the question as to why she would be going so far from home for a new house.

Speculations that she wanted a place where she could evade the attention of the paparazzi emerged as she was seen checking out a multi-million dollar apartment in the Soho neighborhood of Tribeca in New York.

Though plans to put their current home on the market are clear, the insider would like to point out that “By no means is the house on the market. It’s still in the process of being renovated but no definite plan to sell it has been made by any means.”

From the sound of things, the couple actually wants to finish the renovations and then sell the house, probably for a handsome profit.
