By now it shouldn't be a secret that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West love everything that has to do with royalty and pretend to be blue blooded themselves. Back when they were organizing their wedding, there was talk of holding it at the Palace of Versailles, and of copying Kate's wedding dress for Kim.

Now, a new report from The Sun claims that the celebrity couple are looking to model their new mansion after the famous Highclere Castle from “Downton Abbey,” a show they both are said to watch and love.

Kim and Kanye's new home will be called Highclere Castle, after the one on the show “Downton Abbey”

One insider reveals that Kanye has already laid down plans to have “the home resemble Downtown in its grandeur and ‘regalness’ and there will be a sign naming it Highclere Castle.”

The couple have purchased a mansion in the Hidden Hills of Los Angeles sitting on 3.5 acres of land and are currently renovating it to their taste. This makes it the second home the couple are looking to modify, after they bought and later sold another home which they left unfinished, despite numerous projects to have it redone.

At the time, it was rumored that the couple had spent a small fortune on outrageous finishings such as solid gold toilets to give their home a more royal feel. They denied the rumors but have never actually completed the home, as workers complained that Kanye would come in at the end of each week and change the plans completely, being a total “diva.”

For a while now, Kanye and Kim have been living with Kris Jenner, something which doesn't seem to be bothering Kanye at all, despite rumors that he and his mother-in-law weren't exactly getting along.

Kim and Kanye have already gotten into their roles, call each other “sir” and “lady”

But after their new home is completed, Kim and Kanye are going to move in with their daughter North. The best part is that they get to play on their passion for “Downton Abbey.” The same insider reveals that “Kanye loves calling Kim ‘lady’” and that “He basically thinks he’s an even cooler version of Lord Grantham.”

Kim has made her passion for “Downton Abbey” known in the past before, but we had no idea that Kanye too was a fan. Kim gushed about the show a couple of months ago, claiming that it would be like a dream come true if they'd ask her on the show to play a small part.

That was her part of wishful thinking since George Clooney managed to land a similar role just before her interview, as a part of a charity activity. But needless to say, Kim never got her phone call from the producers, no matter how many not-so-subtle hints she dropped.

And since Downton Abbey won't come to her, Kim is now determined to bring Downton Abbey to her home.
