A change of plans for the celebrity couple of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. It looks as though the couple will no longer be getting married in June as it was first suggested by Kim on the Jimmy Kimmel show, but have pushed the proceedings to an earlier date in May.

The news comes via Us Weekly, who has it on good authority that the Parisian wedding will be taking place, just at a sooner date. The same source also says that “North will have a large role in the wedding,” which promises to be one of the biggest celebrity nuptials ever made.

The couple are also said to be planning a lot of events leading up to the big day, in order to keep their guests entertained.

As previously reported, Kim and Kanye went to Paris last month in order to scout for possible venues. They had they eyes firmly set on the famous Castle of Versailles, but that plan fell through when the locals gave them a polite but firm “no chance.”

At the moment, the location hasn't been disclosed, but the bride-to-be has suggested that it's going to be on the outskirts of Paris, preferably in a castle if possible, since Kim is obsessed with the idea of royalty and everything it implies.

An interesting yet unsurprising fact is that husband Kanye is said to have taken an active role in the preparations for the wedding. Each of them has his or her attributions clearly mapped out, as Kim explained.

So far, the matter of wedding costs hasn't come into discussion, after it was revealed that the bill for the event is going to be covered by E!, the network that airs Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality show. Insiders from the network have already deemed the Parisian nuptials a “logistical nightmare.”
