14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are shaking things up. They are no longer moving into their expensive mansion that they've been renovating for months and that was supposed to have, according to numerous reports, solid gold toilets and other outrageous luxuries. Instead the couple is now purchasing a $20 million (€14.9 million) property in the Hollywood Hills.
The home in question belonged to Lisa Marie Presley, according to TMZ who even provided aerial shots of the new home. The couple have been living for months in Kris Jenner's mansion while they had work done on their own luxury home, but the project quickly turned into a never-ending build, as Kanye was reported to have changed things constantly.
The plan is now, according to insiders' reports, to sell the massive overbuilt home and move into the Hollywood Hills mansion soon, as it seems that the couple has grown tired of sharing living accommodations with Kim's mother.
Because they are so keen on living alone, the celebrity couple is said to be moving into their new home as-is, without making any modifications to it. “They have no plans to tear it down or anything like that,” says one insider.
But don't start pitying them just yet, because the property in question is said to already be very luxurious, with roughly 16,000 square feet (1,490 square meters), 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, a kitchen with 3 islands and a very large entertaining pavilion. Oh, and there are also two vineyards.
The aerial view of the property also shows two pools, one of which has irregular sides and is believed to be reminiscent from the Prestley era. All in all, plenty of creature comforts, enough to earn the home the nickname “the jewel of Hidden hills.”
By all accounts, Kim has been eyeing the property for months and she's been going around town telling people left and right that it's her dream home. She also took several trips to the home to check it out and make sure that it's the one for her.
The best part? The home is very close to Kris Jenner's current residence, so Kim and Kanye aren't really flying the coop, they're just moving their business across the street, far enough to live on their own, but not that far so that they aren't under the watchful eye of momma Kris.
The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of the month, which means that Kim and Kanye could be moving into their new home by September.
