Kim Kardashian, the daughter of the late attorney that initially got O.J. Simpson free of murder charges, socialite and budding designer, is branching out. After starring in her own reality show and making a name for herself as a television personality thanks to it, Kardashian is now looking into producing, and she will start with a yet untitled reality show on public relations, as People magazine can confirm.

While it’s not certain if Kim does have what it takes to be a good producer, it’s clear that she’s determined she can be more than just a pretty face in front of the camera. Turning to producing is the natural step in her career, Kardashian believes, and, if there’s something that she doesn’t know yet, she will pick it up on the way. However, from what the mag says, she’s already doing a fine job, as a pilot has already been shot and a network is readying to sign the show for a 2010 debut.

“Kim Kardashian is creating and executive producing a new untitled reality TV show about public relations, she tells People. The proposed series follows Kardashian’s pals, PR gurus Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck of the bicoastal agency Command Public Relations. A pilot for the show, which has been viewed by People, has been shot and an undisclosed cable network is eyeing the series for a 2010 debut. The show is being produced by Bunim-Murray Productions whose credits include ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’ ‘Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami,’ ‘Living Lohan’ and ‘The Simple Life.’” People magazine writes.

As far as she’s concerned, Kim is absolutely ecstatic about her latest endeavor, as well as convinced that she can do whatever she sets her mind to, including producing. To show that to the entire world as well, she will appear as little as possible in the upcoming show, since Jonathan and Simon will take center-stage. Friends of Kim’s have also agreed to appear in several episodes, where the two PR gurus will be faced with a “celebrity crisis,” Kardashian explains for the same publication.

“[This] is the next step in my career. I’ve always wanted to get into producing. After my reality TV show is done, the next step is producing. I definitely see myself in the producing chair. I’ve definitely seen the ins and outs of reality TV. I definitely love reality TV shows. It’s something I’m passionate about. It’ll show all the ins-and-outs or PR. It’s going to be really fun. It’ll show how there’s lots of drama and crisis in the PR world.” Kim Kardashian adds for People.
