14 DAY TRIAL // The money coming into the Kardashian and West household is said to be enough to be making even a Wall Street banker green with envy and yet, somehow, the reality stars are reportedly struggling to make ends meet due to some very outrageous spending that is slowly draining their accounts even before the wedding.
Gossip magazine Life & Style is saying that Kim is the one being irresponsible with her money in a wicked case of “easy come, easy go.” There is no secret in the fact that both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are notoriously big spenders, buying over-the-top gifts and designer clothes and accessories. On that much everyone can agree.
But what is hard to believe is the fact that Kim manages to burn through all the money she's making these days. According to the magazine, “between renovating her $11 million [€7.88 million] mansion and buying designer duds and gifts like a $100,000 [€72,079] Cartier watch for fiancé Kanye West, Kim’s shelling out $1 million [€720,793] a month.”
That's a handsome sum even for Kim to be blowing regularly every month and, while she's not known for her penny pinching, it's a little hard to believe that she has no consideration for her financial future.
Still, the magazine claims an insider has confirmed the news and stated that “She’s worth $40 million [€28,8 million], but she’s not earning enough each week to cover the costs. She’s the rich version of living paycheck to paycheck.”
Keep in mind that Life & Style has been blasted before by Kim Kardashian herself for fabricating completely false stories about her, some of which they ended up dismissing.
Also, it would be hard to believe that usually bossy momager Kris Jenner doesn't have some sort of control over her daughter's finances, as she does with every aspect of her life. If the balance of her bank account turned up in the red, it's safe to assume that Kris would step in and cut off some of the benefits.
As far as the wedding costs go, it's true that the couple are said to be going all out on a lavish French affair that's going to be probably very outrageous, but it's been reported that the E! Network is going to pick up the tab on that one, because they want exclusive television rights for their Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality show.
