14 DAY TRIAL // Introducing Mrs. Kim Kardashian West on her happiest day ever, the day she said “I do” to rapper Kanye West and became his wife, in a gorgeous ceremony held in Florence, Italy. As promised, Kim is treating fans to inside looks at her big day with Kanye, via photos released on her Instagram and to E! News.
Since E! is the network producing her reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians and all its spinoffs (so it’s basically responsible for making the Kardashians into the huge stars they are today), it was to be expected that they also got the first weddings pics, other than those that Kim had already posted on social media.
These brand new snaps, three in total, show a better look at Kim’s gorgeous Givenchy wedding dress, but also at daughter North’s custom dress and Kanye’s tux, both Givenchy as well. Kanye is very close to Riccardo Tisci, the designer for the Givenchy house, so it’s no wonder that he got to dress all the major players in his wedding, including the bridal party: meaning all the Kardashian and Jenner women.
The pic above is a portrait of the Kardashian West family snapped on the roof of the castle where Kim and Kanye were married, the historic Forte di Belvedere. It was taken after they were married and Kim captioned it with “My everything,” meaning that the photo includes her most prized “possessions” in life, her husband and their daughter.
The second photo, available in the gallery below, was also taken after the ceremony, before the reception, and shows Kanye talking to the bridal party. This time, Kim is nowhere to be seen, but we get to see the dresses wore by Khloe, Kourtney, Kris, Kendall, and Kylie.
“We just wore some simple pretty gowns that Kim and Kanye picked out,” Kendall tells E! News.
“The image was taken right after Kim and Kanye wed,” sister Khloe chimes in. “We were all discussing how calm and dream-like the wedding was. The peace in Kim and Kanye was undeniable. We all felt as if they had been married in another lifetime. I have always believed these two are soul mates.”
“It was right after they said their vows and we all came back to the fort. This picture is beautiful. Every moment was like a fairy-tale dream come true,” she continues.
The third photo, which is available at the E! link, shows Kanye and pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr., who officiated the ceremony, having a moment right before he became a married man.
The e-zine says that, as tradition demands it, the groom didn’t see the bride until the moment she walked down the aisle to stand by his side, and that Kanye traveled by a different private jet from Paris, where they had the pre-wedding celebrations, to Florence, where they were married.
After the wedding, the two went to Ireland for a short honeymoon, but they’re getting a do-over as we speak, having gone to an exclusive resort in Mexico for some R&R.
