14 DAY TRIAL // She made sure she (indirectly) blasted him in every interview she gave since she filed for divorce, but Kim Kardashian is saying she still loves Kris Humphries, the man she was married to for a mere 72 days.
As reports online claim that the two are thisclose to reaching an agreement in the ongoing divorce case (the proceedings have lasted more than the marriage, much to the delight of celebrity pundits), Kim is trying to convince the world that she has nothing against Kris.
If anything, she still loves him – just not as her partner, TMZ writes.
“Kris Humphries has made Kim Kardashian's life miserable for the last year-and-a-half – but Kim is actually excited to see him in court today... and even says she still loves him,” the celebrity publication writes ahead of the court date.
“Kim and Kris will face off in court for the first time since their split on Halloween weekend, 2011. They're in court for a settlement conference and […] it's possible they could strike an agreement before leaving the building,” adds the same media outlet.
This is what Kim wants more than anything, especially since she’s now pregnant with Kanye West’s baby.
So far though, Kris has been fixated on his attempt to get the marriage annulled on the basis of fraud: he’s been telling the judge that Kim only married him for ratings and that she knew from the start she would divorce him after she’d gotten what she wanted.
On the other hand, “Kim is actually looking forward to seeing him. She's saying she does indeed still love him as a person, acknowledging, ‘We just didn't work as a couple’,” TMZ writes.
“We're told Kim has actually reached out to Kris numerous times, but he never responded. Kim is saying they have ‘unfinished business’ and need to talk things out so they can truly move on,” adds the same media outlet.
Kim is trying to convince the judge to grant her the divorce.
