Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West want to give daughter North, aka Nori, a little sister or brother, but according to reports, they have been trying to get pregnant for about 9 months and have been warned to be ready for the possibility they might not conceive again.

The curvaceous reality star opened up about her infertility problems during a press call to promote the upcoming tenth season of the family’s E!-produced reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Daily Mail reports.

Kim wants another child “so bad”

The reality star has never made a secret of her desire to have a second child, but it’s just recently that her fertility issues came up in the media.

Kim confirmed them the other day, during the press call that took place in Los Angeles. “It's been more challenging to get pregnant the second time around,” she told the media. “When you're not planning it, it happens. It's just how God works. And when you want it so bad, it's not happening...”

As per the most recent report, Kanye and Kim have already seen fertility specialists but have been warned that it might be impossible for them to conceive. Apparently, the same specialists had told her before that she could never get pregnant, which is why baby North was deemed a “miracle” baby.

The first trailer for KUWTK season 10 (video below) hinted at Kim and Kanye’s latest struggle, including footage with Kim getting an ultrasound and a scene in which Kim admits to Khloe that she and Kanye got down and dirty in a bathroom on the set of a photoshoot because they’re very “desperate.”

Kim isn’t the only one with fertility issues in the family

The same Khloe knows a lot about what Kim must be going through right now, since she too has fertility issues that prevented her from getting pregnant with estranged husband Lamar Odom, back in their happier days, before the cheating and the drug scandal, and the inevitable split in December 2013.

Khloe too has been very open on the topic in all her discussions with the media, saying that she wanted to raise awareness on this problem millions of women are facing.

She also said that she would have never imagined reaching 30 and not having a loving husband and at least one child, but that she’s reconciled with the idea that, sometimes, life doesn’t happen the way you want it to.
