14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might put on a loving façade on all their appearances at the Paris Fashion Week, but they’re hiding a very “nasty” secret: the fact that they’re heading towards divorce real fast, according to a new report.
The two tied the knot in a highly mediated ceremony in May this year, at an Italian castle, after weekend-long celebrations that also included a rehearsals dinner at the Palace Versailles in Paris, France.
They haven’t even been living together all this time, InTouch Weekly claims in its latest print edition, which comes out today (story via The Hollywood Gossip).
They’re not a couple in the real sense
As you can see in the photo attached to this article, the mag claims to have it on very good authority that Kim and Kanye’s marriage is dead in the water, and the only reason we hadn’t heard about it until now is that there’s a lot of money involved.
About $250 million (€196.2 million), to be more exact.
Insiders reveal that Kim and Kanye have been arguing non-stop since they got married on a wide series of topics, from her reality show and how much of her personal life she’s revealing on it to their daughter North’s upbringing, Kanye’s ego and controlling ways, and Kim’s addiction to social media.
They already got into the “fight to end all fights” and are supposed to be seeking a divorce very soon. Not that a divorce would alter their living arrangements all that much since, as per the same report, they haven’t even lived together “full-time” since they became husband and wife, because of their busy schedules.
Shocking rumors, but not exactly new
Kim Kardashian is, without a doubt, one of the most mediated celebrities out there, and that includes Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, and other tabloid fixtures. Most of the times, it’s Kim herself (or her PR team) who invites this kind of attention because she’s a reality star and has nothing to sell but herself and her life. So even bad media is better than no media at all.
Still, these rumors have been out for many months, emerging in the first weeks of her marriage to Kanye. This is Kim’s third marriage, with her second, to NBA star Kris Humphries, lasting only 72 days: the proceedings took way more than that until the divorce became final.
With it, whether she wanted or not, she set a “precedent” and the media is thinking she will follow it up with a very nasty divorce battle with Kanye.
The same goes for those rumors about her involvement in the reality show, and how Kanye is controlling her every move because he’s jealous and wants to “make sure” she won’t cheat on him.
There is probably some grain of truth to them, but chances that we will be witnessing a “nasty $250 million [€196.2 million] divorce” anytime soon are very slim right now. Then again, stranger and more surprising things have been known to happen.
