14 DAY TRIAL // This is one of those things that celebrities do when they want to attract attention. Kim Kardashian was spotted wearing no makeup when she stepped out in Los Angeles yesterday, and the press went wild. The reality star had stepped out for a gym session, and it seems that she forgot to get ready properly.
We say “it seems” because there is absolutely no way that a person such as Kim Kardashian, who's been in the limelight ever since she was Paris Hilton's BFF on her reality series, would go out without any makeup on, even if it was to take out the trash – not that she takes out the trash from the best of our knowledge.
So you have to imagine that this is all a publicity stunt of some sorts, since Kim has been in the news for all the wrong things lately, but mostly divorce rumors from Kanye West because of the whole baby debacle: you know, she wants a baby and he doesn't, so they're constantly fighting, that sort of thing.
Regardless, the tabloids jumped on the opportunity to bash on Kim, saying that she looked “unrecognizable” when, in reality, there wasn't that much of a difference from the makeup photos. Sure, there were some dark circles under the eyes and some minor skin imperfections, but from this to “unrecognizable” is a long way.
This means that Kim didn't actually forget to put on her makeup, but she sneakily opted to go for a more natural look, and left the magazines to speculate whether or not she had any products on at the time.
Last year, there were rumors that Kanye West spent a small fortune having a personal makeup artist, a stylist and a hair person traveling with her every day in order to keep her looking perfect. So it's hard to think that they would let her walk out of the house “au naturel.”
Another argument that contradicts the whole “I just threw something on and went out for a jog” theory is the fact that Kim wore a very revealing gym outfit, which showcased her ample derrière and her full chest. More to the point, she made sure that the zip on her jacket was down just the right amount to give an enticing perspective without giving away the farm.
Honestly, there is no way she'd go out without makeup. Keep in mind that this is the same person who has recently admitted taking 1,200 selfies per day. If you don't think that that's a lot, let's put it another way: there are 86,4000 seconds in a day, and Kim takes 1,200 selfies in that same amount of time.
That means that Kim Kardashian takes a photo of herself once every 72 seconds in order to meet her daily quota. Oh, and let's not forget that she still needs to sleep about 7 or 8 hours every night, so that number should be reduced by half.
