14 DAY TRIAL // She might not be a skilled singer or a talented actress, but if there’s one thing Kim Kardashian knows how to do well, that’s to keep people talking about her. The other day, the reality television maven stepped out for lunch in New York City and gave a whole new meaning to the concept of cleavage.
If this is Kim’s idea of lunch attire, we’d be very interested to know what she wears when she’s provocative on purpose. Check out the two photos in the gallery to see her rock a cleavage so deep it goes down to her belly button.
This is what Kim wore to have lunch with sister Kourtney Kardashian, who recently confirmed she’s pregnant with her third child, and daughter North West. Before the date at the NYC restaurant, Kim had a photoshoot with famous photographer Ellen von Unwerth, so it could be that the retro styling (the big hair and the dramatic makeup) was for that and she just chose to keep it for the day.
However, that outfit is entirely Kim’s idea, you can tell. First of all, she loves a black outfit more than anyone else, especially since she started dating Kanye West.
“A minimalist black outfit is classic, stylish and elegant! With simple black pieces, details like strappy shoes or a structured jacket really stand out. You can’t really go wrong. Monochromatic looks are my go-to when I’m traveling and on-the-go. The epitome of timeless chic,” Kim wrote on her official website a short while ago, in support of all-black outfits.
That which pops out here isn’t the structured jacket (because she doesn’t have one, she’s wearing a classic blazer) or the strappy heels (because she’s wearing nude pumps), but that daring cleavage. Other than that, the outfit is made of basic black leggings paired with a basic top and a blazer with a more masculine cut.
This black outfit is far from “the epitome of timeless chic,” but Kim deserves points for being risky, if you can appreciate that.
Several media outlets point out that, without that blazer, Kim would have been a major wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen but, as you can see in these photos over at the Daily Mail, even with it, she still needed to use her hand to protect her modesty as paparazzi swarmed her.
This is the second revealing outfit in only a couple of days for Kim: she accompanied Kanye to Bonnaroo and made sure to pose for pictures in a ridiculously see-through top that pretty much screamed “look at me!.” This black outfit is a repeat of that.
