14 DAY TRIAL // The Kim and Kanye wedding is just around the corner, and the Kardashian clan is tingling with anticipation that they are going to be walking one of their members down the aisle for a third time which, they hope, will be the charm.
But before Kim says “I do” to Kanye, the Kardashians decided that they were going to throw her a surprise bridal shower at the Peninsula hotel in Beverly Hills. Don't ask us what guests brought as presents for the woman who has everything.
E! Online reports that the surprise shower was a secret and intimate affair, attended only by a small group of family members and close friends of the bride. On Saturday, around 10 in the morning, they all gathered at the hotel and welcomed the happy bride.
Kim showed up awfully well-dressed for a surprise party and, wouldn't you know it, she was just happening to be wearing white. She decided on a body-hugging, white dress with a pearl halter strap, not to mention a huge grin on her face.
After the private bridal shower was over, Kim and her mom Kris were seen lunching at La Scala, accompanied by her BFF Jonathan Cheban and his mom. After lunch, the group was spotted shopping around a home goods boutique, and, according to onlookers, they seemed to be enjoying themselves.
As far as the actual wedding is concerned, the Kardashians are still very tight-lipped about it, despite the fact that they are being virtually assaulted by the media from all sides. Even those who have been confirmed as guests at the event aren't dishing out any details about the nuptials, which is a sign they were sworn to secrecy.
Meanwhile, Kanye's bachelor party is said to be taking place in Dublin, according to the latest reports, despite the fact that original gossip had him pegged much closer to home, in New York City, at the swanky 40/40 club, with all his posse that included rapper Jay Z.
Now, it seems that the singer has changed his mind and decided to have his stag party after flying to Europe, probably thinking that it will be more low-key. He has probably chosen Dublin because it's close to France, people speak English there, and it's still enough out of the way to serve his need of intimacy.
It would be a shame if some of his wild antics on his last night as a single man were to leak in the press and Kim caught a glimpse or what actually went down there.
