14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian is currently in Thailand, enjoying some R&R while also filming for the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and since this is a very good place to take photos and show off your body, she decided it would be a good idea to snap herself with a baby elephant, just to give her fans and followers a bit of authentic flavor.
However, she found out the hard way that elephants are allergic to selfies, because, just as she was about to snap herself with the baby elephant that was brought especially for them, it decided to “attack” her.
Granted, Kim was easily startled, because all that the animal did was to blow air out its trunk into her hair, but that caused her to run away in fear, making quite a face in the process. It's very likely that this photo will also become the target for memes in the following weeks, just like her crying face has done in the past.
There is even a gif of the incident, and while Kim can be seen fleeing in horror, in the background, her mother Kris couldn't be calmer and happier, getting a hearty laugh out of the situation. Also, the handler looks like the most serene man on the planet, not even blinking throughout the incident.
The Kardashians are currently in Southeast Asia, filming for the next season of their reality series, but they are also enjoying some vacation time. Kim's social media profiles show that she's having a great time, getting some sun in between shoots, as she keeps posting photos from the beach with her in swimsuits, like the ones taken and Phang-Nga Beach in Phuket, Thailand.
Apart from all the merriment and sun tanning, the family is said to be also doing some charity work while on the scene, having already visited a local orphanage. This is a bit of an eyebrow raiser since, in the past, the family has come under fire from critics for failing to “give back” a little more from their media empire.
And even when they did give back, it seemed like it was all done for publicity. The last time Kim held a charity auction to help the typhoon victims in the Philippines, it turned out that only 10% of her income actually went to helping people, the rest went into her pockets and also in funding one of her mom's businesses.
Needless to say, people were not pleased, after Kim had pleaded with people to bid as much as they could for charity, but the reality star defended from detractors who claimed she used this as a means to stuff her own pockets, by saying that she's constantly giving to charities without anyone knowing.
