14 DAY TRIAL // Though she’s toyed with lighter shades before, Kim Kardashian is what one may describe as a convinced brunette, always dyeing her hair jet black. To get ready for the summer and the upcoming wedding, she recently went for a lighter color.
The reality star debuted the new ‘do a couple of days ago and was immediately snapped by paparazzi, as it usually happens with her when she steps outside for errands or simply to have some fun.
Oddly enough, though, no one seemed to notice that she was rocking a new shade of hair, so she took to her Twitter to say she decided to go lighter for the summer.
“I dyed my hair lighter for summer but u can’t really tell in these pics I’m trying to take. I’m loving it! I feel younger!lol,” Kim writes on her official page.
Indeed, celebrity pundits note, the change is only noticeable in before and after shots, if they’re placed near each other for comparison.
In other Kim Kardashian-related news, it would seem the she has decided on the type of wedding dress she wants for her big day with Kris Humphries, AceShowbiz reports.
Of course, for the time being, she’s not saying anything on the record and she’s not announcing the name of the designer who will do her gown, though she’s believed to be Vera Wang, with whom she’s been spending a lot of time recently.
“[She] wants it to be a little bit of high fashion, but also timeless, classic and classy. [It] will be ivory, and most of the detailing will just be stitch-work or beading,” a close pal of Kim says for the US glossies, as cited by the aforementioned publication.
“She’s making all the decisions so there’s no room for any of us to screw up her big day. But she’s being open-minded to what Vera Wang and her family has to say,” the insider adds, insisting that Wang is truly Kim’s designer of choice for her wedding day.
