18 months old is a tad too young to be sitting front row

Kim Kardashian will never learn: the reality star turned the world’s greatest fashion icon (but only in her mind and Kanye’s) has made a habit out of bringing her infant daughter, North West, or Nori, front row with her to fashion shows. The other night, Nori had her revenge.

It started last year, when Kim and husband Kanye hit the Paris Fashion Show, and Kim thought it would be a good idea if she kept Nori way past her bedtime, dressed her in a matching outfit and forced her to sit through an entire show that couldn’t possibly interest her, seeing how she’s not even 2 years old yet.

She pulled a similar move for the first day of the New York Fashion Show.

Yeezy line for Adidas Originals is here

Kanye West is a genius who won’t be put down by criticism from the fashion industry, and who will eventually prove to these nay-sayers that he can, and does, make solid, timeless pieces. So he teamed up with Adidas Originals for a collection that includes both clothing and shoes, and it debuted in the first day of the New York Fashion Week.

You can see Kim wearing some pieces from the collection in the Instagram photos below, right before the video of Nori throwing a tantrum and being carried away from the show.

Usually, the celebrities sitting front row at any show offer the best indication of how well regarded and ultimately influential / important that designer is. Kanye has massive star power, there is no denying that, since we have Rihanna, P. Diddy, Anna Wintour, Beyonce and Jay Z sitting there.

In fact, Justin Bieber was there too, but he wasn’t sitting front row: he was seated in the back. So yes, Kanye does have a lot of weight in the industry.

Nori is on hand for daddy’s show

Also present was Kanye and Kim’s 18-month-old daughter, Nori, as you can see in the photo attached to this article. She was dressed in an outfit that replicated her mother’s, and for a while, she seemed quite taken with the music and the lights and whatever motion there was on the catwalk.

Then she started crying.

Wintour’s reaction was perhaps the best, as she was seen leaning to her side as if recoiling from the screaming child. Meanwhile, Beyonce and Jay Z subtly rolled their eyes, pretending they couldn’t hear the ruckus: clearly, they too believed she was far too young to be there in the first place.

Kim quickly had someone come over to relieve her of mommy duty and carry Nori off. She was later seen in her mother’s arms again, as they were leaving the venue.

Nori is Kim’s newest accessory

No matter how much Kim insists that Nori is fascinated with fashion and that’s why she drags her with her wherever she goes, she’s probably doing it because she’s treating her child as some form of hot fashion accessory.

A kid who’s barely 1 and a half doesn’t care about haute couture or capsule collections, be they designed by one of the two most important people in her life, her father. She probably doesn’t care either for wearing matching outfits with her mom or having her hair slicked back with hairgel, because it’s the trendy thing to do.

If these events take place past her bedtime, she has every reason to be upset and throw crying fits.
