14 DAY TRIAL // She fashioned herself into a one-woman media empire that brings in millions of dollars annually, but that’s not stopping her from being annoying. A new poll in Parade magazine names Kim Kardashian the most annoying celebrity right now, ahead of Charlie Sheen.
Out to determine which are considered the most annoying and over-exposed celebrities out there, Parade conducted a poll with its readers and, to some surprise, Kim took home the title, AceShowbiz reports.
“The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star topped the list with 29% of the vote which is 2% more than what runner-up Charlie Sheen collected,” the e-zine reports.
“Parade speculated that media overexposure of her recent wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries and honeymoon might result in her earning the title,” adds the same publication.
That might be so, but one seriously doubts Kim is losing sleep over the new title that’s been bestowed on her, let alone over the fact that she got it because of her eccentric wedding ceremony – one that reportedly made her about $18 million (13.4 million Euros) richer.
Up next in the poll comes Charlie Sheen who, because of the media exposure he got after he was fired from his hit show “Two and a Half Men” (which is now moving forward without him), got 27 percent of the readers’ votes.
Snooki of MTV’s hit reality show “Jersey Shore” lands in at number 3, with 21 percent of all the votes. Knowing how much pride she takes in whatever achievement she has, regardless of its nature, Snooki must be glowing right now.
For years, Lindsay Lohan has been saying that all she wants to do is act and to be left alone to do her job. Still, she continues to hold headlines for anything but her acting career.
This is probably why she was voted fourth most annoying celebrity, with 16 percent of all the votes.
Donald Trump (or The Donald) also made the cut, with 5 percent of the votes, while former The Bachelor star Brad Womack only got 1 percent of all the readers’ votes.
“Beside the most annoying celebrities poll, Parade also found out that Americans feel that Emma Watson will be the former ‘Harry Potter’ star who is likely to succeed and that Ryan Reynolds is the celebrity who is deemed most worthy of dating Pippa Middleton,” AceShowbiz writes.
