14 DAY TRIAL // If you were shocked by Kim Kardashian's fashion sense and her often outrageous outfits that hold the front pages of tabloids around the world for days, then you're in for a treat. Because the reality star has chosen to upgrade her daughter North to baby clothes with an adult style – namely hers.
Spotted out on the town during an outing, Kim revealed her daughter had a brand new style. The first thing that hit you was Nori's new hair style, which was now fashioned in a glorious comb-over that made her look like a serious 60-year-old.
Then, the second thing you noticed about North was that her clothes were styled to look exactly like her mother's. If Kim wore a tight black dress with straps, then North too wore a tight black little ensemble made up of pants and a blouse with straps.
For now, there's no problem with style and taste, but what happens the next time Kim steps out in a revealing outfit or something that emphasizes her already sizable posterior? The questions of morality and appropriate behavior will have to be answered then.
Kim is not the first celebrity mother to style her children's clothing after her own. Victoria Beckham used to do this years before Kim had even considered going out with Kanye, and some would argue that she used to do it with more style than the reality icon.
So dressing your kid up in clothes that mirror your own isn't something that outrageous, in fact a lot of parents who can afford it actually do this. The problems begin when your taste in clothes is often questionable and your outfits leave little to the imagination on numerous occasions.
Kim Kardashian perfectly illustrates the latter category, and no matter how hard she keeps stomping her feet that she's a fashion icon and no matter how many Vogue covers she lands, Kim still often strikes out when it comes to dressing up.
The future is looking grim for North because, let's face it, no one wants to see a 4-year-old wearing leather boots and skin-tight jeans, or skimpy dresses with plenty of cleavage. Kim needs to understand that kids need to dress their own age or otherwise risk growing up too fast.
The bad news is that Kim has just made public her intention to give birth to at least two more children with Kanye West, as both of them want a larger family.
