Children don't understand what the big deal is about the ad

A Fine Bros. video shows us that racism does not usually affect children, as a group of kids are shown a Cheerios commercial featuring an interracial family.

As I reported, it includes a white mother and a black father, and it has received a lot of negative comments, so many in fact that the comments feature was turned off for the YouTube clip.

Kids react to the advert and literally find nothing wrong with it, until they are asked their opinion about the family.

They describe them as “nice” but don't even bring race into question. They are then told that it stirred up a lot of controversy over the use of two races in the clip.

“When was this commercial made? The 1950s?” one girl bursts out. She cannot believe that race was even an issue at this point in time.

“Some people just fall in love like that” a little girl adds.
