It comes complete with easy modeling software

Creating a three-dimensional model can be the most frustrating part of 3D printing something, even if you download one that only needs some changes and refinements.

The people who created the Q 3D Printer, however, managed to completely eliminate that problem by including a design program called Eureka.

This program supposedly has a very short learning curve, allowing you to get a hang of it as easily as it would be to figure out how to use Play Doh. Or clay if you're artistically inclined.

You can take elementary shapes and mix them up or mash them in the program, instead of having to build the designs conventionally.

That doesn't mean the Q 3D Printer itself is any less cool. When a cubic 3D printer with a price of $499 / €440 happens to include not just its own software but also a control screen, you can be sure that eyebrows will lift.

And you even get a filament spool as part of the deal. An extra hundred bucks nets you 40 3D printed objects made from the Q.

All you need to do is head over to Kickstarter and make a pledge (it includes a six-month warranty). Shipments won't begin until in May 2015.

The campaign will run until February 28 and will only take off if $40,000 / €35,300 are gathered by then.
