French Montana and Khloe Kardashian pose with machine gun, draw ire from Khloe’s fans

Khloe Kardashian has always been the most loved Kardashian, if not the most popular. Until a few hours ago, it seemed that she could do no wrong, even though she did show signs of having a more rebellious side as well, which also included posting to Twitter a photo of herself holding a gun some time ago.

She’s doing it again and, this time, according to the many negative comments online, she’s crossed the line. The photo above was posted to Khloe’s Instagram with the caption, “About to go gucci maaannnnnn. #MovieSet #JustDifferent @frenchmontana.”

That’s French Montana beside her, the rapper she’s been rumored to date for the past few months, the man some believed was just the rebound guy after her divorce from Lamar Odom. He’s holding a machine gun, while a cool-looking Khloe, shades on, sips from a bottle of champagne. They’re gangsta like that.

Regardless of whether they consider Montana a good man for her or if they believe she could do so much better, most fans agree that Khloe is not as cool as she thinks for posting this photo. In fact, they say, she’s the very opposite of “cool” because her glamorizing weapons comes shortly after another random killing that took the lives of 6 innocent people in Santa Barbara, California.

NineMSN has summed up some of the comments from upset fans and they all point to a sense of disappointment in fans for seeing their favorite Kardashian, Khloe, acting in such an irresponsible manner.

“Really? Do you have any clue what an idiot you look like in this pic? I am one of your biggest supporters. But to think this is cute or funny is disturbing and disappointing. Santa Barbara lost six kids last week… Do something good with your life. Jesus,” one fan writes.

Another adds: “So disrespectful to those who have lost people recently. It's disgusting and what makes it worse is you have the money and the platform to make a difference and you choose not too.”

Unlike Rihanna, who has always maintained she was an entertainer and not a role model, so that she was free to do whatever she wanted without thinking of how that would impact her young and impressionable fans, Khloe never shied away from her responsibilities as a role model.

She would often speak on topics that she was familiar with, things she knew from personal experience, in the hope others in the same situation would find her words helpful. At least, that’s how she justified her decision to go public with details about her weight struggle, her infertility problems, and many other, very intimate topics.

With her posing like this, she comes across as indifferent to her fanbase and to their feelings, and thus a hypocrite. So no wonder her fans are furious and, more importantly, letting her have a piece of their mind.

What do you think? Is Khloe wrong for posing like this with her rumored boyfriend, for glamorizing a violent lifestyle, or is this just another storm in a teacup? Let us know in the comments section below.
