This past Monday, Khloe Kardashian put on a fake fur coat and went for a walk around New York City.

This piece of news might have gone unnoticed if it were not for the fact that the coat the reality star decided to strut around in had a not-so-nice message intended for fur lovers spray-painted on its back.

The message in question, somewhat visible in the picture above, read as follows: “[expletive] yo fur.”

At first, people assumed that Khloe Kardashian had had a run-in with a bunch of animal rights activists, and that the message had been spray-painted on her coat by them, Mirror reports.

The fact that the reality star purposely wore this fake fur coat in public became obvious when Kim K's sister shared a video showing her walking around in this outfit, and added the caption “[expletive] yo fur!!! Fake fur all day people!!” to it.

For those unaware, Khloe Kardashian is a firm believer in animal rights, which is why she wholeheartedly disapproves of the fur industry.

At one point, she was even friends with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). However, she distanced herself from the group after the latter saw fit to flour bomb her sister Kim.
